Balancing Development With Environment.
Every human living on the nutrition and shelter provided by mother earth wants to repay the debt or atleast show gratitude towards her selfless endeavor.
But the dilemma arises where personal achievements override this obligation. But a slightest of effort from everyone change go a long way in making a positive change.
Going green doesn’t refer to planting a million trees. Simply changing our high energy consuming bulbs to much more efficient fluorescent tubes is also a remarkable contribution.
Now many governments are stepping in to motivate people by offering them financial rewards and incentives for choosing to help and contribute towards making our environment sustainable. For instance, New York State has offered tax exemption on improvement which tends to converse energy.
This incentive goes a long way in encouraging people to apply for energy efficient systems as the government rebates the property tax payable on such additions, as it will increase the value of the residual or commercial establishment.
This incentive is applied on a range of electronic appliances like water heaters, biomass-fuel stoves, air conditioners etc. Solar energy systems are obviously eligible for this scheme.
Apart from this, special thrust is laid on the use of renewable sources of energy like solar, wind and nuclear energy.
